Triple D Genetics is a family owned operation and passion of the Heath Family.  Dan and his two sons Daniel and Doug make up the "D” part of the name and the Purebred Angus cows and sires make up the Genetics part of the program.

 

The program is located in Poplar Grove, IL expanding over 380 acres of pasture that has been improved in facilities and resources in order to manage an elite Purebred Angus program. Acquisition of some of the breed’s elite sires and donor females headlines the progressive mindset of the Heaths.  A long term view, balanced with proven and progressive genetics, is a winning combination that works not only in the purebred Angus business but in any business.

 

Embryo transfer and Artificial Insemination are key tools used in the program.  Never before has the turn of Angus genetics been this rapid and Triple D Genetics is committed to staying in the front of the purebred Angus seedstock business as a supplier of elite genetics.  They know the everyday effort in the selection of genetics is needed along with the on farm work that is demanded by the focus of our industry.
